Startup UCLA presents a virtual speaker series event for the 2021 Summer Accelerator. Join Robert Jadon, Director of Summer Accelerator and co-founder of Startup UCLA, as he chats with Jamika Martin.
Jamika Martin is the founder of ROSEN Skincare, a clean beauty brand for people with acne-prone skin. Jamika founded ROSEN as an undergrad in college after dealing with acne-prone skin for most of her life. Upon realizing the mass acne space hadn’t updated with the modern consumer and research, she set out to create the next generation of mass acne care.
Jamika graduated from UCLA in 2017, at which point she began pursing ROSEN full time as part of the Startup UCLA Summer Accelerator. A member of the 2021 Forbes 30 Under 30 list, Jamika has transformed ROSEN from a brand that started with a bootstrapped budget to one that now has thousands of customers. Today, you can find ROSEN in stores like Target, Urban Outfitters, and more.
