UCLA Innovation Week (http://www.uclaideas.com) starts on October 1st! This is the first time that entrepreneurial organizations on campus are coming together en masse to catalyze start-up formation. Each day of this week features a unique campus resource and provides students, staff, and faculty with an opportunity to experience entrepreneurship.

The last event of the week is a 24-hour competition, starting on October 4th, where teams of 3-5 people work together to develop solutions for unmet medical needs. This event is similar to a hackathon in concept, but includes students with a variety of skill sets. We are inviting students from engineering, medical, business, arts, and design backgrounds to participate. This is the first time a healthcare-focused hackathon is taking place in Southern California! **We are providing CASH PRIZES for the top three teams, food for everyone and a raffle!**
