HackUCLA is looking for UCLA students to fill the Vice President and Director of Sponsorship and Marketing positions!
We are looking for creative and motivated UCLA students who have a huge passion for technology, startups, and/or venture capital. Applicants should have a strong desire to build their entrepreneurial networks and help get UCLA on the map as a startup and innovation hub in LA.
Roles and responsibilities would include organizing and hosting events, and staying up to date with our sponsors, and reaching out to established technology companies such as Google and Facebook, as well CEOs of startups based in LA.
Sponsors currently include: StartupUCLA, PageWoo, Scopely, Rackspace, Peak Hosting, Originate Labs, 10gen (MongoDB), and Red Bull. We’re looking to grow this list of sponsors.
Perks include great networking opportunities, getting familiar with people at startups you might want to work for, meeting all the right people in the LA startup scene, and free access to many LA startup events.

Candidates for the Vice President position should be juniors or sophomores, as they will be expected to take over as President for the next school year.
