Blackstone LaunchPad at UCLA Now Open!

After months of planning and preparation, the Blackstone LaunchPad at UCLA is now officially open to the UCLA community.

The Blackstone LaunchPad is a free campus entrepreneurship program open to all UCLA students and alumni regardless of academic major. We introduce entrepreneurship as a viable career path through individualized coaching, ideation, and venture creation support. It is important for us the UCLA community understands that our services cover all industries and avenues of entrepreneurship, regardless of whether they are in the for-profit, non-profit, or B corporation sector.

The Blackstone LaunchPad is housed within Covel Commons, in the newly renovated 203 office space. UCLA Bruins are able to talk with our consulting staff about their venture ideas in a non-judgmental, confidential, and supportive space. Our program allows students to explore entrepreneurship at their own pace and to engage in our services in a personalized manner when developing their ventures throughout the academic year. The 1:1 consulting meetings will be enhanced by a variety of Blackstone LaunchPad events, which include weekly discussions with thriving entrepreneurs, workshops to further develop entrepreneurial skills and mindsets, and exposure to the business community outside of UCLA.

All UCLA Bruins are invited to complete a personal profile on the Blackstone LaunchPad website (http://ucla.thelaunchpad.org). Then, you will be invited to submit a venture assessment form and request a meeting with our consulting staff. It’s ok if you don’t have a venture to submit (just yet), creating a personal profile will allow you to be notified of our events and announcements during the year.

The Blackstone LaunchPad at UCLA looks forward to providing a strong and valuable entrepreneurship resource to the UCLA community!
