Join Aktivebay to transform the sports industry!
As community outreach and business representative you will research LA’s sports landscape (sports businesses, organizations, leagues and groups). You will generate leads to marketing directors and visit sports stores, facilities and organizations to showcase Aktivebay’s functionality. The goal is to get sports businesses and organizations to use Aktivebay to communicate with their followers and to share their events and promotions.
You will also connect with amateur sports groups and attend sporting events to create awareness about Aktivebay in the local sports community. In addition you will deliver content through Aktivebay’s social media channels Facebook, Twitter, Instagram. As a representative you will mostly work from home and visit businesses on the Westside of Los Angeles.
The ideal candidate should be:
– Passionate about sports (beach volleyball, surfing, triathlon, yoga, tennis)
– Interested in web technology and social media
– Great communicator and comfortable with sales
– Self-starter with ability to manage own schedule
– Proficient in Microsoft Office
– Photoshop experience a plus
– Part of collegial sports team a plus
Compensation: College Credit, Small Performance Bonus
